Michael Crowley Jnr

Founder and CEO

(Ngāti Kahungunu, Tūhoe and Rarotongan descent)

After pursuing an Accounting degree from the University of Western Australia, Michael turned his attention to the growing needs of WA’s Maori, Pacific Islander and Aboriginal community; collectively the largest community in Western Australia.

Michael sees the establishment of an indigenous owned and operated community centre as the catalyst for creating hugely positive changes for indigenous peoples locally and abroad.

Oriana Tui

Head of Events and Community Initiatives

Oriana is of Samoan and Tahitian descent, born and raised in wellington. 
 
Prior to moving to Perth 3 years ago, Oriana owned a Hair & Beauty Salon in Auckland, NZ. 
 
Although currently in Business Banking, it is her passion for people and serving the community that attracted her to join the ProudRoots team. 
 
Oriana has worked with a number of Pacific Island/Maori organisations, Community and Church groups in NZ and endeavours to add value to ProudRoots with her previous experience.

Currently finishing her Bachelor of Digital Design with Curtin University, Adele has a passion for dynamic design that easily transcends from print to web. A member of The Australian Graphic Design Association, when she isn’t designing mockups or writing code, she enjoys going to the beach with her two beautiful labradors.

Aya has a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology in Philippines, and recently taken up a full-time course of Animation and Games Design in TAFE. Aside from making digital art, writing stories/scripts and taking photos are two of the tasks she loves to do. But for now, she’s focused on working with her drawing tablet every day.
